Julie Harris - Project Co-ordinator
Julie Harris is the Co-ordinator and has a key role in managing the services of the Company and leading in the strategic planning of its future, with a keen interest in seeing the company grow and develop to meet the needs of more and more businesses, individuals and organisations. Julie has been with the Company for 6 years and in that time she has worked in a variety of management and development roles including leading in the launch of some major new projects and services. She is a keen follower of ICT and its effect on society, and is a major advocate of social enterprise and social accounting.
Rob French - Technology Manager
Rob French is the Technology Manager and is responsible for looking after the numerous networks and servers which keep the company ticking. Rob is your man if you want to have a domain name registered or email configured and has an extensive knowledge of internet services and software support. Rob also provides technical support both to the Company and its clients in a wide range of hardware and software matters. With a keen eye on new developments in the use of technology, Rob plays a key role in looking for new opportunities and enhancement of services which the Company has to offer its clients.
Sarah Stevenson - Operations Manager
Sarah carries out a number of different roles in the administration, marketing and financial management of Project COSMIC. She gained a BSc in Tourism & Business Managment and also spent 5 years working in marketing and PR at Local Authority level prior to joining Project COSMIC. Sarah now oversees the finances of the company, looks after personnel issues and marketing plans, and is qualified to deliver training. Outside of work Sarah is studying for an MSc in Rural Development.
Kim Reynolds - Finance and Admin Officer
Kim Reynolds is our Finance and Admin Officer and brings her warm and friendly style into all her dealing with the Company’s clients. Kim looks after all invoicing, payments, and clients enquiries and at the same time oversees the organisation of the office and supplies. Kim has a degree in Geography and Countryside Management and has travelled extensively prior to joining the COSMIC team.
Ben Mayo-Smith - Website Developer
Ben Mayo Smith is our Website Developer and is responsible for design, creation and production of websites from initial client contact through to the final construction and launch. Ben has a degree in graphic design and many years of experience in website production within the Company. He has been responsible for the production of websites for businesses and organisations locally, regionally and nationally and provides ongoing support to all our website clients.
John Elliot - Website Programmer
John Elliott is our website programmer. John has also worked as a website designer but more recently writing web and database applications for the NHS. Johns talent and interest in programming and up and coming technologies brings a great diversity to the websites the team produces. John is also a sculptor exhibiting in the UK and abroad.
Becky Reynolds - ICT Trainer
Becky Reynolds is one of our ICT Trainers and is currently dedicating her time to training in the Young HerITage project. This project aims to work with young people alongside museums, libraries and archive centres to run workshops in ICT which will enable these young people to produce a multi-media presentation which can then be used by the museums and libraries. Becky is a qualified graphic designer and has previously worked in a website developer role for the company.
Lee Hodges - ICT Trainer
Lee Hodges is an ICT Trainer and is currently involved in delivering the new ITs NEET project across Devon. ITs NEET focuses on young people aged 16 – 18 who need some additional support and training in order to encourage them into work, education or further training. Lee is a practicing multi-media artist and has worked in community training for the last three years alongside developing his own skills as a freelance artist. Lee’s broad-based experience in film and the arts offers a unique perspective to the training environment.
Menna Williams - ICT Trainer
Menna is an IT trainer and focuses her work on delivery and support of our adult training programme. She has many years of experience in training at Level 1 and 2 including extensive and varied experience in supporting learners who are working towards their ECDL qualification - including learners in private, public and voluntary sector organisations and the armed forces. Menna's keen interest is in seeing learners progress and make use of their IT skills to support their career, social and personal development
Andy Thompson - ICT Trainer
Andy is a member of the ICT Training team and is currently involved with the ITs NEET project. Andy comes to Cosmic from mainstream education where he worked for several years with children with special needs so brings an understanding and empathy to training and learning through his years of experience working with young people. Andy is creative and innovative which he expresses through writing and performing poetry. Andy has had many poems published and has his own poetry website
Julia Taylor - ICT Trainer
Julia is a member of the ICT training team and is currently involved in training projects that focus on beginners and older learners. Julia has a PGCE in Further Education and broad experience in teaching adults. She is particularly interested in demystifying computers for ordinary people and those who expect to find learning challenging.
