Keith Tizzard

Keith has been a user of the Internet Cafe since it opened and a Member of the Advisory Board for a number of years. He joined the Board of Directors in 2002. After a period in industry, he spent 25 years at the University of Exeter where he was the Head of the Department of Mathematical Statistics and Operational Research. He has many years experience teaching a range of programming languages within the University and to commercial organisations. He now designs database systems for local businesses.

 

Steve Sycamore

Steve is currently one of the founder partners of Amber Associates Independant Financial Advisers, he has been in the financial services industry for the last 12 years, working within a small partnership and a large national company. "I look forward to utilising my skills to the benefit of COSMIC".

 

Stephanie Wims

A former English teacher and current A Level English Literature Examiner Stephanie has a wide experience of secondary and further education. As an enthusiastic believer in 'life-long learning' she is particularly interested in encouraging people at all levels and of all ages to reach their full potential. 'There are still many young people in our community who have not taken full advantage of their educational opportunities and many older ones have never 'had the chance!'

Jon Bond

As well as operating his own farm, Jon set up and runs his own Training Organisation, specialising in Land Based skills. He is Instructor/Assessor qualified and has a degree in Agriculture, as well as a Post Grad qualification in Education. For many years he has been actively involved in devising, hosting and delivering work based learning predominantly but not exclusively, to young people.Having experienced life in many areas of the country, Jon and his family have made the Southwest their home since the late 1980’s. He is proud to represent a growing social enterprise and learning organisation like Cosmic that has its roots in the region and an ethos that fits his own values

Julie Harris

Julie Harris is the Co-ordinator and has a key role in managing the services of the Company and leading in the strategic planning of its future, with a keen interest in seeing the company grow and develop to meet the needs of more and more businesses, individuals and organisations. Julie has been with the Company for 6 years and in that time she has worked in a variety of management and development roles including leading in the launch of some major new projects and services. She is a keen follower of ICT and its effect on society, and is a major advocate of social enterprise and social accounting.

 

Sarah Stevenson

Sarah carries out a number of different roles in the administration, marketing and financial management of Project COSMIC. She gained a BSc in Tourism & Business Managment and also spent 5 years working in marketing and PR at Local Authority level prior to joining Project COSMIC. Sarah now oversees the finances of the company, looks after personnel issues and marketing plans, and is qualified to deliver training. Outside of work Sarah is studying for an MSc in Rural Development.

 

Andy Thompson

Andy is a member of the ICT Training team and is currently involved with the ITs NEET project. Andy comes to Cosmic from mainstream education where he worked for several years with children with special needs so brings an understanding and empathy to training and learning through his years of experience working with young people. Andy is creative and innovative which he expresses through writing and performing poetry. Andy has had many poems published and has his own poetry website
